Fukushima – meeting with Mr. Kent Sato

Towards the end of our journey through Japan, thanks to the help of Ms. Kiyomi Obo, we managed to meet Mr. Kent Sato – a man living less than 30 km from the Fukushima nuclear power plant. Mr. Sato told us about the events after March 11, 2011, when the huge earthquake damaged the power plant reactors. He became interested in this subject, having seen images of the bomb explosion in Hiroshima in Japanese comics. He set up accounts on Fecebook and Twitter and began to make people aware of the consequences of such an explosion and pointed out to the authorities that evacuation of people within a radius of 2, 5 or 10 kilometers from the power plant is definitely not enough. In our opinion, Mr. Sato indirectly saved a lot of human lives.
The account of our conversation with Mr. Kent Sato will be coming soon to our presentation about Japan!
