Traveling around Japan, we had the pleasure of meeting a person who, at the age of eight, survived the explosion of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Mrs. Keiko Ogura told us about her life during the war, the day of the explosion and the subsequent days, months and years after the catastrophe – a catastrophe that affected the course of her entire life!
For us it was extraordinary, that, in the meeting, we could still talk with the witnesses of these events and try to understand at least a little and put ourselves in the position of people who have experienced so much.
